En la última edición especial de Decibel Magazine se publicó un ranking con los mejores 100 discos de metal, lanzados entre 2000 y 2009. Por acá la lista.

En una edición especial conmemorativa del fin de la década, los editores de Decibel trataron de rendir homenaje a las mejores placas lanzadas en los pasados 10 años. La lista incluye desde Napalm Death a Isis, pasando por Immortal, Slayer, etc. Es un ranking bastante decente, comparado con otros provenientes de gringolandia. De todas formas hay algunas bandas que para el metalhead común y corriente, derechamente no son metal (Andrew W.K., Deftones, etc.)...
